Team Of The Weekend.

The all-new 'Team Of The Weekend' dubbed "Phagocyte's Eleven" will focus on highlighting outstanding performers across Europe's Top Five Leagues (ie: England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France). A team comprising of 11 players will be released every Sunday to accentuate brilliant individual performances across Europe's elite leagues.

Below is this week's Phagocyte's Eleven;

Rui Silva (GK) - 8

The Portuguese shotstopper was the difference on the night when Real Betis escaped with a narrow 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano. Silva ate-up everything thrown at him saving all of Vallecano's 6 shots on target. He helped the Verdiblancos in buildup as well completing 3 accurate long ball in the game.

Wilfried Singo (RB) - 7.8

The young Ivorian defender was immense for Monaco in their 3-0 thrashing of RC Lens. Singo opened the scoring for the Monégasques in the 24th minute to set them unto the path of victory. He also attempted over 58 passes with a success rate of 86% and won 4 aerial duels, the most in the game.

Kurt Zouma (CB) - 8

Starting the season as West Ham's captain, Zouma has elevated his game even more and it was on show when they defeated Luton Town by 1-2 on Friday. The big french man dominated the Hammers backline with 7 successful aerial duels and 3 interceptions, both most of the game. He also scored a goal which ensured that David Moyes' side earned their third successive win of the new campaign.

Jean-Clair Todibo (CB) - 8

The young French defender was simply unplayable in OGC Nice's 2-0 home win over Strasbourg. Attempting over 110 passes in the game, Todibo ended up with a 91% success rate while playing 5 long ball and also assisting Moffi for Nice's second goal of the game.

Federico Dimarco (LB) - 7.8

Bumping up and down the left flank for the Nerazzurris, Dimarco definitely left his mark in Inter Milan's 4-0 humbling of Fiorentina at the San Siro. An impressive 91% success rate in passes attempted was coupled with 2 accurate long balls and a cross into the box which turned out to be an assist for Thuram's first goal for the club.

Joshua Kimmich (CDM) - 8

The German midfield maestro dictated the pace of the game for the Bavarians in their hard earned 1-2 away win against Borussia Monchengladbach. Kimmich was instrumental with his over 100 passes attempted achieving a success rate of 93% while assisting both goals for Bayern Munich.

Luis Alberto (CM) - 8

After a disappointing display in their first two outings of the season, Lazio shocked defending Scudetto Champions Napoli with their meticulous Spaniard in the thick of affairs. Alberto's back heel flick gave the Biancocelesti the lead in the game and he also held his own to help Lazio retake the lead after Napoli equalized through Zielinski's deflected effort.

Jude Bellingham (CAM) - 8.5

A fantastic start to life in Spain has seen Bellingham named La Liga player of the month of August. The England international has netted five times in his first four La Liga games for Real Madrid. The latest of those goals came in their game against Gatefe where he held his nerve to coolly slot the ball past David Soria to ensure that the Madridistas kept their hundred percent record at the start of the season.

Takefusa Kubo (RW) - 7.8

Real Sociedad's Japanese winger was the brightest spot in the eight-goal thriller against Granada on Saturday. Kubo's first half brace for the Errealas set the tempo for the game. He also helped Sociedad control the game with his 85% pass accuracy and one long ball winning a foul in the process.

Lautaro Martinez (LW) - 8.5

The Argentine continues to enjoy his fine form at the start of the Serie A season netting five times in his first three outings. Martinez also attempted 5 shots, most of the game, with 4 on target and won 2 fouls alongside 1 accurate long ball. His 2 goals on the day also ensured that Inter Milan's perfect start to the season was not perturbed.

Erling Haaland (ST) - 9.8

The big Norwegian led the citizens demolishing exercise of Fulham at the Etihad with his first hat trick of the season. Last season's EPL golden boot winner has started this campaign just like he signed off last summer scoring six goals in his first four league games of the season.
