The TikTok Controversy: Osimhen's Agent Threatens Legal Action Against Napoli.

In a startling turn of events, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda, has fired a warning shot at the club, asserting his intention to pursue legal action following a video that was posted and subsequently removed from Napoli's official TikTok account. The contentious video, which allegedly ridiculed the player, has sparked outrage.

Calenda conveyed his concerns via the messaging platform X, emphasizing the severe damage inflicted upon Victor Osimhen by the now-deleted video. He strongly condemned the incident and branded it as unacceptable.

What happened today on Napoli's official TikTok profile is entirely unacceptable. A video that appeared to mock Victor was allowed to circulate before being, albeit belatedly, taken down. We stand ready to take legal action and explore any necessary measures to safeguard Victor's interests.

At the time of this report, Napoli had not responded to requests for comment, despite the incident occurring outside of regular business hours.

Adding to the controversy, Osimhen missed a crucial late penalty in a recent Serie A match against Bologna, which concluded in a goalless draw. His frustration was evident as he was substituted towards the end of the game, with a heated exchange with coach Rudi Garcia as he exited the field. Nonetheless, the French manager downplayed the situation.

This upheaval comes at a time when Napoli, the reigning champions struggle and find themselves in seventh place in the Serie A standings this season. They are set to face Udinese today in a home match amidst the storm of controversy surrounding their star striker.
