'They Deserved To Win' - Maxwell Konadu.

Nsoatreman FC's coach, Maxwell Konadu, acknowledged that Hearts of Oak rightfully earned their victory in the recent match. During the second matchday, Nsoatreman suffered a narrow defeat, with Kashala Ramos Wanet, the Congolese forward, netting the lone goal of the game in the 3rd minute.

This loss marked the first time that Maxwell Konadu experienced a defeat against the Phobians in his coaching career. Prior to this encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium, the former Ghana international had maintained an unbeaten record against the Ghanaian giants.

Speaking after the match, Maxwell Konadu conceded that his team was outperformed on the day, and he recognized that Hearts of Oak deserved their victory. He also touched on the need for improvement in his side's away performances.

Good game. Very difficult one. We had a red card and we brought in fresh legs to augment the squad. It was a good game for Hearts. You can't take anything away from them. They deserved to win. We did our best but wasn't just enough. We were not pushing hard enough. Hearts were keeping the ball and that didn't help us with our rhythm. We have a lot to do especially with the away games. Going forward we will try to get the results away from home this season.

Maxwell Konadu's side continue on their travels next matchday as they visit the Theater of Dreams Park at Dawu to face Dreams FC on October 4.
